No. Transcription runs on-device via WhisperKit and NVIDIA Parakeet CoreML models. No audio is uploaded, no account exists to upload it to, and there’s no telemetry. Turn Wi-Fi off and dictate all day.
macOS 14 or later on Apple Silicon (M1 or newer). Intel Macs aren’t supported — the models are compiled for Apple’s Neural Engine.
